01. WHAT DOES SPONZO INTERIORS SPECIALIZE IN?

+

Sponzo Interiors is a full service luxury interior design studio specializing in bold, highly personalized homes throughout Connecticut and nationwide.

Our work focuses on comprehensive home transformations: restructuring layouts, selecting finish materials, custom furnishings, and styling. The result is a home that feels entirely unique—one you won’t find anywhere else.

02. WHO IS YOUR IDEAL CLIENT?

+

Our clients are typically busy professionals, high-level executives, and families who value quality, discretion, distinctive design, and a full-service experience.

They are not looking to “piece together” a home over time—they want a carefully considered design tailored to their tastes, executed professionally, with minimal demand on their time.

03. WHAT IS THE TYPICAL STARTING INVESTMENT FOR A PROJECT?

+

We specialize in projects where we can deliver meaningful results at the quality level discerning clients expect.

Full-service furnishings and cosmetic renovation projects typically begin at $100,000+.

Larger scale renovations typically begin at $300,000+.

Clients investing in new furnishings are also expected to plan for painting/wallcovering and decorative lighting specifications to ensure a fully realized design.

Budget alignment is always the first step in our process, with in-depth conversations to ensure clarity and fit.

04. WHAT MAKES YOUR APPROACH DISTINCTIVE?

+

Our foundation is personal. Before we think about furniture schemes or space planning, we get to know your story and craft a design narrative unique to you.

That narrative informs everything—how spaces connect, how color palettes take shape, and how you feel as you move through your home. Nothing is accidental; everything is considered.

This ensures no two spaces are ever the same, and your home becomes a reflection of your values and lifestyle.

05. CAN YOU BE INVOLVED BEFORE CONSTRUCTION BEGINS?

+

Yes. In fact, the most successful projects are those where the interior designer is engaged before construction begins.

Our early involvement helps refine space planning, shape budgets, and establish the concept of your home from the outset.

06. WHAT IS YOUR DESIGN PROCESS?

+

Discovery: We learn everything we need to know about your space—scope, conditions, timeline, and budget. More importantly, we learn about you: your lifestyle, values, and what success looks like for your project.

Design: We develop a space planning proposal and present it for approval. Once approved, we move into full design development: concepts, materials, color palettes, lighting, decor, and styling.

Execution: We produce detailed documentation including specification packets, spreadsheets, and construction drawings. On the furnishings side, we place orders, track them, receive everything, and store items in a climate-controlled warehouse.

Reveal: Once construction is complete, we execute a white-glove installation. Every detail is styled, finished, and prepared for a seamless reveal experience.

07. WILL I NEED TO MANAGE CONTRACTORS OR FURNITURE DELIVERIES?

+

No. We act as your single point of contact throughout the project, translating all design decisions into builder-ready documentation.

We manage construction documentation, vendor coordination, furniture procurement, receiving, inspection, and white-glove installation.

This ensures consistency, quality control, and a seamless experience with minimal burden on your time.

08. WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE?

+

We work across select residential communities in Connecticut, including Greenwich, Norwalk, New Canaan, Wilton, Roxbury, Fairfield, Groton, Stonington, Essex, Chester, Deep River, Old Lyme, Ivoryton, and more.

Nationally, we have completed projects in the Washington DC area and Palo Alto, California.

We selectively take on long-distance projects that are large-scale or highly aligned.

09. HOW LONG DOES A PROJECT TYPICALLY TAKE?

+

Timelines vary depending on scope, but most projects follow this general structure:

Design phase: approximately 3–4 months
Procurement and installation: approximately 4–6 months

A full multi-room project typically spans 8–10 months.

The first step is to reach out through our contact form with a brief overview of your project. We’ll schedule an introductory call to review scope, goals, and alignment before moving forward.
